You won’t want to miss this return visit by the Trio Clavino, who originally played at St. Edward’s in 2014. On this program, the group will feature their usual bravura playing, new and older compositions and several pieces with ethnic and folk-like underpinnings (such as Glick’s “The Klesmer’s Wedding”). The concert is a preview of the program they’ll play on an upcoming Fulbright tour of China. Attendees at their program two years ago still rave about the Trio, which consists of Simon Maurer, violin/viola; Doris Hall-Gulati, clarinet; and Xun Pan, piano. Bring your friends!
