As we approach All Saints’ Day, this Sunday, November 1st, please remember to submit the names of your loved ones, to be read after communion, to the parish office by tomorrow, Tuesday, October 27th. The parish office will be closed from October 28th – November 2nd, and the bulletins for that Sunday will be completed and we do not want to miss acknowledging your remembrances. Thank you.

Hempfield Area Food Pantry “wish list” of food items for November & an update on our contributions:
Thank you to St. Edward’s for your continued support to the HAFP. In September, you contributed 110 pounds of food items to the pantry.
During the month of September….we served 145 families which included 148 children, 305 adults, 104 seniors for a total 557 people served…9 new families were registered. 34 volunteers donated 517 hours to the pantry.

Our session this week will begin Chapter Four of our text. Our conversations have been a wonderful exploration of our faith & Episcopal identity and it is wonderful to engage each other in discussion and participation! Perhaps you would feel comfortable in delivering the closing prayer, this week? We would welcome your participation. Attendance at every session is not required.
