Dear friends,
Welcome to the hazy days of summer this week! What better way to spend a quiet Monday afternoon than to watch the St. Edward’s service, from the weekend. In case you missed it, it was a wonderful combination of meditative and spiritual celebrating of the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost: Proper 9.
To follow along with the bulletin, the 10:15 AM service for the Fifth Sunday after Pentecost: Proper 9, Rite II, click here to access.
Another way to enjoy our worship, if you attend the 8 AM Rite I service, is to download the bulletin, here, and then to watch the service below at the 16:30 mark to hear Father Rick read the gospel and then stay to listen to, Dina Carter Ishler, give the homily for this past Sunday.
Fellowship and Ministry Opportunities Abound at St. Edward’s!
Join us in ministry and fellowship this summer with several activities featured in our July/August Scepter. They are safe. They are community. They forge our ministry of giving to St. Edward’s, each other, and the wider community.

Wednesday Noonday Service of Healing
It is here! Starting this Wednesday, July 8 at 12 noon. Please enter through the parish hall doors. Masks are required. We have put in place healthy practices for your comfort and safety. May we ask that you please let the parish office know if you are planning on attending (it you have not already done so).
We leave you for the start of this week with a prayer For the Beauty of the Earth, from the Book of Common Prayer:
We give you thanks, most gracious God, for the beauty of earth and sky and sea; for the richness of the mountains, plains, and rivers; for the songs of the birds and the loveliness of the flowers. We praise you for these good gifts, and pray that we may safeguard them for our posterity. Grant that we may continue to grow in our grateful enjoyment of your abundant creation, to the honor and glory of your Name, now and forever. Amen.
Be well. Stay Safe. Keep the faith.
